Kathy is a licensed real estate salesperson who has personally been in the “Property Game” for more than three decades with her husband Mark: Buying and selling; holding and trading; suburban, coastal and rural; residential and lifestyle; reno’ing as investments and reno’ing as flips; old do-ups and new builds … altogether Kathy has pretty much run the whole gamut of buying and selling property, including creating awarded AirBNBs. There’s not a lot she hasn’t experienced first-hand in real estate, with her personal favourite challenge being interior renovations, including the current long-term project of their home “Whare Kura” the 150-yr-old Aratapu School House.
With such extensive property experience, Kathy has accumulated vast practical knowledge and pragmatic expertise, with a passion to work hard for her vendors, and her motto “Achieving the best poss sale price is a three-prong effort: best poss presentation, best poss price and best poss marketing”, while always also making sure prospective purchasers receive their best opportunity to secure the property they really want to buy, devoid of unjustified pressure.
Kathy’s former career background was in maternity healthcare as a 24-7 on-call midwife and best-selling motherhood author (and still is a respected global thought-leader regularly contributing internationally on the topic of Perinatal Integrative Medicine). Prior to that, Kathy was in the Travel Industry for many years achieving numerous sales and marketing awards.
