Kathy is a licensed real estate salesperson who has personally been in the “Property Game” for more than three decades with her husband Mark: Buying and selling; holding and trading; suburban, coastal and rural; residential and lifestyle; reno’ing as investments and reno’ing as flips; old do-ups and new builds … altogether Kathy has pretty much run the whole gamut of buying and selling property, including creating awarded AirBNBs. There’s not a lot she hasn’t experienced first-hand in real estate, with her personal favourite challenge being interior renovations, including the current long-term project of their home “Whare Kura” the 150-yr-old Aratapu School House.
With such extensive property experience, Kathy has accumulated vast practical knowledge and pragmatic expertise, with a passion to work hard for her vendors, and her motto being “Achieving the best possible sales results is a three-prong effort: best poss presentation, best poss asking price, and best poss marketing”, while always also making sure prospective purchasers receive their best opportunity to secure the property they really want to buy, devoid of unjustified pressure.
Kathy also operates as a somewhat ‘exclusive’ realtor, in that she is never wishing to take on “as many listings as possible” because doing results in the need to take on extra support staff to share the workload, whereas Kathy’s philosophy is “My clients will always get Me” prioritizing quality of service over quantity of listings. So do know, if your property is listed with Kathy, you will receive her dedicated personalized attention throughout the selling journey of her focused commitment, to ensure your property is marketed effectively and sold efficiently – with all clients still receiving the added benefits of potential Buyers from our whole Sales Team able to be make buyers aware of your property too.
Kathy’s former career background was in maternity healthcare as a 24-7 on-call midwife for many years, and also becoming a best-selling motherhood author. (Kathy is still is a respected global thought-leader regularly contributing internationally on the topic of Perinatal Integrative Medicine.)
